IQ Healthcare Innovation Fund
The Municipality of The Hague set up the IQ Healthcare Innovation Fund to provide capital to innovative healthcare companies. Its management is in the hands of InnovationQuarter. The fund contains EUR 4.6 million to give innovation in the social domain a kick-start.
The terms and conditions of this fund were adapted in 2025. We are now actively looking for companies with plenty of potential. We will hold a number of information sessions for interested entrepreneurs in the first two quarters of 2025.
Subsidy of up to EUR 50.000
InnovationQuarter can make vouchers available for innovative entrepreneurs in healthcare. This regulation offers SME entrepreneurs in South Holland that have a technological innovation in healthcare the opportunity to receive a subsidy of up to EUR 50,000 to develop and test their solutions.

For students
We have vouchers for students in The Hague who are working on or are interested in innovating in the healthcare and/or social domains. You can use these vouchers to work on further developing your product or idea through pilots, research, buying materials and so on. At the moment, this option is only available for students at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
The Municipality of The Hague also has a wide network available to stimulate entrepreneurship among students. Support is available through these programmes for students who want to know more about starting a business or an innovative company.
